Mourinho calls Ramos?

Mourinho apparently sought to find out if Ramos would be willing to represent Roma, as he is soon to become a free agent.
But it remains to be seen how Roma could afford his salary.
Roma seek to strengthen spine

In goal, the top target remains Rui Patricio, while Nathan Ake is wanted in defence. Granit Xhaka seems close to joining for the midfield and in attack, Patson Daka is creeping up the shortlist.
Turkish double raid?

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Zeki Celik of Lille could arrive to strengthen at right-back. In addition, they back up previous reports that Roma are competing for Feyenoord midfielder Orkun Kokcu.
Even if Granit Xhaka arrives in Kokcu’s position, the Turkish international could still follow, as he would only cost €12m and at 20 years old would be a long-term investment.
Cristante courted by Milan

One, according to Corriere Dello Sport, is another man with a contract expiring in 2022: Zenit Saint Petersburg forward Sardar Azmoun. He has scored a respectable 52 goals in 83 games for the Russian side and could add more depth to Roma’s attacking department along with Edin Dzeko (if he stays) and Borja Mayoral.
Kluivert could stay

Mourinho has known Kluivert for a long time and now they could take the chance to work together, despite the winger previously hinting he could make his move to RB Leipzig permanent.
Pastore hints at Talleres move

That’s according to Il Tempo, who admit that the Fiorentina frontman will cost more than €40m.
However, given his young age and prolific record in 2021, he could be the ideal candidate to lead the frontline forward.
Triple raid on Benfica?

Vinicius spent the 2020-21 season on loan at Tottenham from Benfica, but found it hard to break past first-choice striker Harry Kane, as anyone would. At Roma, Mourinho might be able to give him more opportunities.
There has been no contact with Benfica yet, but this isn’t the first time Vinicius’ name has been mentioned in connection with Roma.
A separate report from CMJornal also claims two more Benfica players are on Roma’s radar: goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos and midfielder Julian Weigl.
Roma general manager Tiago Pinto used to work for Benfica, so could utilise those relations to Roma’s advantage.
These player links to Roma FC are quality ones which will definitely help Roma challenge for Champions league.

This is a rebuilding process, many more changes might be needed to make @As Roma ready to win trophies. Though, with Jose Mourinho, things will get better this season and trophies should start coming from next season. Hala Roma!
