Roma reach Rodrigo Mora agreement with Porto

Roma have reached an agreement with Porto for the signing of Rodrigo Mora, it was confirmed overnight by Fabrizio Romano.

The attacking midfielder is expected to travel to Rome on Tuesday to complete his move after the two clubs signed off on the deal.

Roma will pay €25m up front for Mora, with Porto retaining a 50% sell-on clause. Roma can reportedly cancel the clause with another €25m payment next summer, which would make Mora their record signing.

The 19-year-old is likely to complete his move in time to be available for Roma’s season opener against Fiorentina on Monday.

Roma are still being linked with another winger in the form of Malick Fofana at Lyon, but were prioritising the Mora deal first.
