Roma have confirmed the signing of Rodrigo Mora from Porto.
The 19-year-old, who can play as an attacking midfielder, has cost Roma a transfer fee of €25m.
The price could double next summer, according to reports, if Roma buy themselves out of a 50% sell-on clause in Porto’s favour.
This is the first move of Mora’s career after two seasons in the Porto first team. During that time, he has scored 16 goals from 79 games.
A Portugal under-21 international, Mora started for Porto against Roma in the first leg of their 2024-25 Europa League knockout play-off tie, and came on as a substitute in the second leg.
Mora will wear the number 86 shirt for Roma, which no one has before.
