Roma have made it to five European finals across their history, winning two – including a first UEFA triumph in the 2021-22 Europa Conference League.
A win over Feyenoord in May 2022 gave Roma their first trophy in 14 years, ending Jose Mourinho’s first season in style with their first ever success in a UEFA-recognised competition. The following season, they reached the Europa League final, but lost to Sevilla.
Prior to that, they won the two-legged final of the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup against Birmingham City in 1961, lost on penalties to Liverpool in the 1984 European Cup final, and suffered an aggregate defeat to Inter Milan in the 1991 UEFA Cup final.
But how good is your memory and knowledge of which players were involved?
In this quiz, you have 10 minutes to fill in as many starters from those seven Roma lineups from European finals as you can think of. It will test your knowledge of club history and more recent times.
Don’t forget to share your score with Giallorossi Yorkshire on Twitter afterwards. Good luck!
