Andressa Alves will enter a fourth season with Roma Women after committing her future to the club for the 2022-23 season.
Andressa has been with Roma since 2019, when she joined from Barcelona. Since then, she has scored 23 goals from 63 games for the club.
As such, she is the third highest goalscorer in Roma Women history – as well as their record assist provider – and there will be more to come from the 29-year-old.
Fresh from being crowned the best midfielder in Serie A Femminile for the 2021-22 season, Andressa has decided to prolong her time in Italy by a further year.
She is now contracted until the end of next season, in which Roma will be participating in the Champions League for the first time.
The Brazilian has played in the competition before during her Barcelona days, so her experience will be vital.
“I am delighted to be able to play for Roma for another season,” she told the club website.
“It’s a club I have learned to love over these last few years, with an incredibly passionate fanbase. I will always do my best to represent this club well, the fans can be sure of that.
“We have great targets to reach next season, in both Italy and Europe, and I cannot wait to enjoy another season alongside all of you.”
