Roma appear to be closing in on the signing of Granit Xhaka, according to various sources.
Sky Sport Italia recently revealed that Xhaka was Jose Mourinho’s first real target, and that report looks to have been on the money. It now seems a matter of when, not if, Xhaka will become a Roma player.
Calciomercato.it and RomaPress are among those now claiming that the midfielder could sign by the end of the week.
At first, there was a difference between Arsenal’s demands and Roma’s offer, but that gap is closing all the time.
All parties are eager for the move to happen, so it could be a matter of time.
