Manuela Giugliano has extended her contract with Roma Women until the end of the 2024-25 season.
The midfielder could therefore reach six seasons of service for Roma, whom she joined from AC Milan in 2019.
Since then, Giugliano has played 67 times for the club, scoring 13 goals. Only six Roma players have ever made more appearances and only five have scored more times.
Usually deployed in central midfield, Roma’s number 10 has developed a reputation as a creative force. Her association with the club has now been extended, following in the footsteps of influential teammate Andressa Alves recently.
“I am delighted with this renewal, at Roma I feel good and I have found a stability that I have never had anywhere else,” Giugliano told asroma.com.
“Since I’ve been here this city has been exciting for me, and the fans have helped me understand from the very first day what it means to represent this team.
“For all these reasons I can’t wait to continue to make history here.”
Giugliano played 26 times for Roma in the 2021-22 season, scoring six goals – making it her busiest and most productive season with the club yet.
Her previous contract only had one more year left to run on it. But now, Roma have retained her services until she will be 27 years old.
