Buoyed by their Coppa Italia win over Juventus last week, Roma Women are back in Serie A action on Saturday as they host Inter Milan.
In the league, Roma are looking to return to winning ways after losing to Verona a fortnight ago. However, that was clearly just a blip – as last week’s performance in the cup proved.
Roma go into this match as favourites, but were held by Inter in the reverse fixture. Since then, Betty Bavagnoli’s side have grown in consistency and will be aiming to translate that into a win.
They will have to navigate the tie without Elisa Bartoli, who remains out with injury. Roma coped admirably in their captain’s absence against Juventus, so Saturday’s game should be no different.
This will actually be the first time Roma have ever hosted Inter, after the same fixture last season was one of those that never got to be played before the season was cancelled.
Now, Roma will now look to make it 15 home games in a row without defeat.
Kick-off is at 11:30am UK time and fans can watch the game live on Roma TV+.
