Federico Fazio is in line for just his fifth start of 2020, as Paulo Fonseca prepares to set Roma up with a back three again versus Brescia.
Fonseca has used a back three for Roma’s last two games, leading to some improved performances. Last time out against Parma, the Giallorossi claimed their first win in four games.
If they are to turn that win into some momentum, they will have to overcome Brescia on Saturday evening. And they will be without two players who started against Parma.
Bryan Cristante is suspended, so Fazio will come in at the centre of defence to replace him. Meanwhile, so is Henrikh Mkhitaryan, one of Roma’s most important players in attack recently – so the likes of Lorenzo Pellegrini will have to step up.
Elsewhere, Fonseca is planning limited changes again. Edin Dzeko is a doubt after having a heavy workload in the last two games, so Nikola Kalinic could come in for just his fourth Serie A start for Roma.

Roma comfortably won the reverse fixture 3-0 at Stadio Olimpico. The last time they visited Brescia, though, ended in defeat – but that was 10 years ago.
Hence, buoyed by their return to winning ways, Roma should go into this game with more confidence than in recent weeks.
The game kicks off at 6:30pm UK time and will be available to watch live on Premier Sports 1.
