Roma have renewed Gianluca Mancini’s contract until 2029, by which point he’ll have played for the club for 10 years.
After joining Roma from Atalanta in 2019, Mancini has made 319 appearances for the club, with his 23 goals making him one of their highest-scoring defenders of all time.
Mancini’s new deal was announced 15 minutes after a renewal for his teammate Bryan Cristante, another member of the first team’s leadership group.
Mancini will be 33 by the time his new contract expires.
Currently 16th on the all-time appearance list, he now stands a strong chance of breaking into the top 10.
