Roma have announced that New Balance will become their new kit suppliers from next season.
The club had been looking for a new shirt provider after ending their agreement with Nike.
New Balance were expected to be the company who would step in, after the Friedkins had been seen sporting some of their attire.
Now, the confirmation has officially arrived, meaning New Balance will provide Roma’s kits for the 2021-22 season.
Roma are the first Italian club to enter a partnership with the Boston-based company, who have also made kits for the likes of Liverpool and Celtic in the past.
Fans will be able to purchase Roma merchandise in New Balance stores, of which there are some in the UK.
Roma CEO Guido Fienga explained the importance of the deal to the club.
“This agreement represents an important step for the club and our ambitions to continue growing,” Fienga told asroma.com.
“New Balance are globally recognised as leaders in their industry and we are convinced this new partnership will mark the start of many great new opportunities for our brand.
“We are delighted to entrust the creation of our bespoke kits to them, and cannot wait to see AS Roma players wearing the new shirts.”
