Roma have gifted Jose Mourinho a new midfielder in the shape of Netherlands international Georginio Wijnaldum, while saying goodbye to new Marseille player Jordan Veretout.
The French club had confirmed they were in talks with the keeper and he is now officially their player.
Meanwhile, Roma are closing in on the signing of Rui Patricio from Wolves to be the Spaniard’s replacement.
The Turkish winger will join the Ligue 1 club on loan with a view to a permanent transfer after his Roma career faded dramatically in recent years.
