Roma send Ruben Providence to Portuguese side Estoril after cancelling Club Brugge loan

Ruben Providence is set for another change of scenery after leaving Club Brugge so Roma can instead loan him to Estoril.

Providence was due to spend the whole season in Belgium with Club Brugge after being loaned there in the summer. However, he failed to make a single appearance for them.

Now, Roma have cancelled his agreement with the Belgian side so they can send him elsewhere. Instead, Providence will play for Estoril in the Portuguese top-flight until June.

Then, he will return to Roma, where he is under contract until 2024. It is not clear what the long-term plans are for the former PSG winger, who has never debuted for the Giallorossi.
