Roma have allowed Tommaso Milanese to complete a permanent exit from the club, joining Cremonese.
Milanese made his debut for Roma under Paulo Fonseca in the early stages of the 2020-21 season, marking it with an assist. He went on to score a memorable goal on his first start for the club, against CSKA Sofia in the Europa League.
Ultimately, it would turn out to be his only start for Roma and the last of his three appearances. He never got the chance to debut in Serie A.
But now he will have that opportunity with a new employer. After spending the 2021-22 season on loan in Serie B with Alessandria – where he made 35 appearances – Milanese has now earned a move to Cremonese, who were promoted into Serie A for the 2022-23 season.
