Roma have announced the signing of Kostas Tsimikas on loan from Liverpool, while Anass Salah-Eddine has departed for PSV.
Tsimikas has joined on a season-long loan to provide competition for Angeliño – a task Salah-Eddine struggled to live up to in his few months as a Roma player.
Tsimikas, 29, spent the past five years of his career with Liverpool, winning the Premier League last season but largely as a deputy to Andy Robertson.
He has become the first player to move from Liverpool to Roma since another left-back, John Arne Riise, in 2008.
He will wear the number 12 shirt during his loan spell.
Salah-Eddine, meanwhile, has left on loan with an option for PSV to buy him.
The former FC Twente full-back had suitors in Serie A but preferred a return to the Eredivisie in his native Netherlands after just three appearances since his February 2025 arrival.
