William Bianda has left Roma without making a senior appearance to join Zulte Waregem on loan.
The Belgian side have an option to buy the 20-year-old defender as part of the agreement.
Bianda joined Roma from Lens for €6m plus bonuses, but never became part of the first team picture. The Frenchman never even made it onto the bench.
He did play for Roma’s Under-19s in the Campionato Primavera and UEFA Youth League. However, he has not turned out to be a good investment from former sporting director Monchi.
Upon joining Zulte Waregem, Bianda said: “I am very proud to be able to work for Essevee this season.
“I am still very young and I am therefore looking forward to taking many more steps in my development at Zulte Waregem.”
The left-footed defender remains under contract at Roma until 2023.
