Roma drawn against Gent for Europa League Round of 32

Roma will face Belgian side Gent in the Europa League Round of 32 after the draw was made on Monday.

The Giallorossi qualified for the knockout stages after finishing as runners up in Group H, behind Istanbul Basaksehir and ahead of Borussia Monchengladbach and Wolfsberger.

Gent reached this stage as winners of Group I, ahead of Wolfsburg, Saint-Etienne and Oleksandriya.

The two clubs met in the same competition 10 years ago, with Roma winning 3-1 and 7-1 in the respective legs of the third qualifying round in summer 2009 – with Francesco Totti scoring a hat trick in the latter match.

The first leg will be played on 20th February, with the return leg coming the week after.
