Roma will not entertain any offers for Nicolo Zaniolo or Lorenzo Pellegrini this summer, according to reports.
The club are currently planning for the summer transfer window and much of the focus will be on trimming the squad.
However, there are some players who are untouchable. According to Il Tempo, Roma insist that Zaniolo and Pellegrini are not for sale.
Pellegrini has become Roma captain this season and although his contract expires in 2022, the club will look to keep him.
Zaniolo hasn’t featured all year due to a serious injury, but Roma retain faith in him and hope he can come back next season.
A third player whom Roma will ignore offers for is Gianluca Mancini, who has become the beating heart of the defence this season. Jordan Veretout will also be a pivotal part of plans for next season after a prolific season from midfield.
In addition, talks are ongoing to extend the contract of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, which expires this summer.
Roger Ibanez and Rick Karsdorp have already extended their own contracts. The report adds that Gonzalo Villar could be next after growing into a key player.
Roma have had to sell many of their top assets in recent years but it seems the Friedkins have different intentions.
