Roma Women have announced new contracts for Shukurat Oladipo and Frederikke Thøgersen.
Both players are now under contract until 2029 after signing their extensions.
Oladipo was one of the biggest success stories of the 2025-26 season for the double winners, developing from being a young backup player into a regular starter and cornerstone of the defence – so much so that she was named the Serie A defender of the season.
Her original contract, signed when she joined in January 2025, was only valid for another year, so it became a priority for Roma to reward her rise with a longer deal.
Now, the Nigeria international will be able to add to her 32 appearances for the club.
Thøgersen, meanwhile, had reached the end of the contract she signed when joining Roma from Inter in 2024 but will now be able to continue in the capital.
After impressing with her endeavour from right-back over 75 appearances so far, Thøgersen has earned a longer stay in Rome.
