Bruno Peres is approaching the end of his time with Roma and it seems he has already found his next club.
The wing-back joined Roma with big expectations in 2016 after establishing himself in Serie A with Torino. However, he failed to hit the heights expected of him at first.
After 18 months on loan back in his native Brazil, Peres returned to Roma in January 2020. Since then, he has done better than before, even if he still hasn’t matched his Torino levels.
He has impressed with his attitude, commitment and passion, showing some signs of redemption, but it may not have been enough to earn him an extension.
With a contract expiring at the end of the season, it seems Roma have no intention of keeping Peres. Hence, according to Il Tempo and as backed up by Nicolo Schira, he will be leaving.
The destination will be Turkey, where he is said to have signed a pre-contract agreement with Trabzonspor.
In the meantime, Peres will be hoping to end his Roma spell on a high note.
