Roma have confirmed that academy graduate Alessio Riccardi has joined Pescara on loan for the season.
Riccardi is one of the brightest talents to come through Roma’s academy in recent years. He made his senior debut in January 2019, coming on as a substitute against Virtus Entella in the Coppa Italia.
Since then, first team opportunities have been limited for the teenager, so he is now set to continue his development elsewhere.
Riccardi will be with Pescara until 30th June 2021. They can sign him on a permanent basis at the end of the loan if they wish – Roma will retain a buyback clause if they do.
The attacking midfielder remains under contract at Roma until 2023.
Pescara play in Serie B, finishing 17th last year.
Good luck, Alessio.
