Roma Women have lost the services of two of their top three foreign goalscorers with the departures of Evelyne Viens and Emilie Haavi this summer.
Viens and Haavi have both decided to move on after their contracts ran down, but they will both leave behind a legacy.
Here are the top 10 non-Italian scorers for Roma Women at the time of their exits.
1. Evelyne Viens – 41
After winning their first Scudetto, Roma strengthened their attack further with the capture of Viens in 2023.
The Canadian forward helped Roma retain their title and was the top scorer in the whole league in her debut season with 13 goals.
She managed double figures again in her second season, but only when considering all competitions and not in the league only.
Despite a more permanent transition to a centre-forward role after sometimes playing on the wing, Viens had a disappointing final season by her standards, but was the team’s top assist provider.
She bowed out with 41 goals to her name for Roma from 99 games.
2. Andressa Alves – 40
One of the best imports of Roma’s earlier years, Andressa joined the club from Barcelona ahead of their second season and helped pave the way towards them reaching greater heights.
The attacking midfielder scored 40 goals for the club, including 17 in her fourth and final season before leaving in 2023.
3. Emilie Haavi – 35
Perceived by most as Roma Women’s best ever foreign player, Haavi helped the team step up another level after arriving in December 2021.
The hard-working winger ended her Roma career with as many goals as assists: 35 for each. Putting them together, only Manuela Giugliano has more goal contributions for the club.
Haavi’s best goalscoring season was 2022-23, when she got eight in the league, 11 in all competitions and was named the best player in Serie A Femminile.
4. Paloma Lázaro – 26
Lázaro was the centre-forward who paved the way for Italy international Valentina Giacinti to come in and take Roma to the title-winning level.
The Spaniard’s efforts between summer 2020 and January 2023 represented a useful upgrade on what Roma had before.
Her ratio of goals (26) to starts (51) was better than one in two.
5. Lindsey Thomas – 14
Acquired ahead of Roma Women’s second season, Thomas could play anywhere across the attack and was the team’s top scorer with nine goals in her curtailed debut season.
The French forward left Roma after winning the Coppa Italia in her second season.
6. Sophie Román Haug – 13
Norwegian by birth, Roman by fate, Haug scored one of the most memorable goals in Roma Women history: a match-winning header against Juventus in April 2023 that allowed the team to wrap up the title the following week.
However, she left that summer after 18 months of service in search of more starting opportunities at Liverpool, who paid a fee representing Roma Women’s record sale at the time. Indeed, Haug scored one more goal for Roma than the number of games she started.
7. Alayah Pilgrim – 10
The highest-scoring remaining foreign member of the Roma Women squad, Pilgrim’s 10 goals so far for the club have come in 62 appearances across two-and-a-half seasons.
8. Moeka Minami – 10
Roma Women’s top-scoring foreign defender so far is Minami, who scored 10 goals from 118 games between 2022 and 2025.
9. Vanessa Bernauer – 9
Roma Women’s first number 10 until she vacated the number for Giugliano, Bernauer’s most memorable contribution for the club was scoring the winning penalty for their first trophy, the 2020-21 Coppa Italia.
Penalties from shootouts don’t count towards any of the tallies mentioned here, to be clear.
10. Zara Kramžar – 9
All of Kramžar’s nine goals for Roma came while she was still a teenager, having originally been signed as a 16-year-old attacking midfield prospect. She even once scored a hat-trick before being tempted away by Everton.
