Roma Women are looking to make it eight wins in a row when they visit Verona on Saturday.
Currently enjoying their best ever run of form, Roma have been climbing up the Serie A table in recent weeks. Now in fourth place, they are looking to close the gap with the sides above them.
A win against Verona alone would not be enough for Roma to rise up any further in the table yet. However, it would only help their chances of doing so in the weeks ahead.
Confidence is running high, and the outcomes of the previous meetings between the two sides should only boost that. Roma won the reverse fixture 2-0 and won both games against Verona last season by an aggregate score of 10-0.
While Roma are in relentless form, Verona have been struggling of late. The hosts have lost all four games they have played so far in 2021.
Roma will not be taking them lightly, though, and Betty Bavagnoli will want to see the same professionalism she always demands from her players.
They have been following those instructions perfectly in recent weeks and will be aiming to continue that trend.
