Roma Women have welcomed back Martina Piemonte for a second spell at the club after her departure from Lazio.
Piemonte was part of the founding Roma Women squad in 2018, but the striker only stayed for one season, in which she scored six goals.
Since then, she has played in Spain and England, as well as having spells with Fiorentina, Milan and Lazio.
She became a free agent this summer after two years with Roma’s rivals, but now will be staying in the capital.
Piemonte, who will wear the number 18 shirt like she used to, has signed a contract until 2029.
Piemonte is the second player to return for a second spell with the Giallorosse after Rachele Baldi last summer.
On the same day, Roma have announced the arrival of another striker: Sofia Jahnukainen.
The 19-year-old, hailing from Finland, has signed a contract until 2030 after her move from HJK. She is inheriting the number 7 shirt recently vacated by Evelyne Viens.
