Roma have bolstered their attack with the addition of Donyell Malen from Aston Villa on loan with an obligation to buy.
After welcoming Robinio Vaz from Marseille earlier this week, Roma have added the more experienced Malen, who turns 27 next week.
Able to play as a striker or a winger, Malen only joined Villa last January after previously playing for Borussia Dortmund and PSV.
However, he has now joined Roma in a deal that will reportedly become a long-term one if European qualification is achieved.
Indeed, Aston Villa have announced it as a permanent transfer on their website, whereas Roma have labelled it a loan with an option to buy.
It’s the second window in succession that Roma have signed a forward from Villa, with Malen hoping to fare better than Leon Bailey has.
