Roma have added to their midfield options further with the signing of Mady Camara.
After already bringing in Nemanja Matic and Georginio Wijnaldum this summer, but seeing the latter suffer a serious injury, Roma have gone back into the market for a third reinforcement for what was the weakest area of their squad last season.
Camara is the latest recruit, joining on loan with an option to buy from Olympiacos.
The 21-time Guinea international leaves the Greek club with 181 appearances and 19 goals behind him. Previously, he featured 51 times for AC Ajaccio in France.
At the age of 25, Camara is now embarking on a new challenge in the third country of his club career.
After choosing the number 20 shirt, he told Roma’s official website: “I am really pleased to be here. Joining Roma is a big opportunity for me.
“It is going to be a busy season, in both the league and the cups, but I am here to make my contribution and help the side in every competition that we play in.
“It was magnificent to experience the Olimpico atmosphere and see all the fans; I cannot wait to play in front of them.”
