Heden Corrado and Emma Severini have both left Roma Women to join Napoli on loan for the 2021-22 season.
The young pair played their part in Roma’s conquest of the Primavera championship last season, but also have experience with the senior side. Corrado has made 15 appearances, sometimes being entrusted with the captain’s armband in lesser games, while Severini has 10 to her name and has even scored twice.
Both still in their teens, they will now build up more experience with Napoli, who secured Serie A survival on the final day of last season – coincidentally against Roma.
It continues the re-shaping of the squad for the season ahead, but unlike some other players to have left, it seems midfielder Severini and defender Corrado still have long-term futures back at the club.
Good luck to them both for the upcoming campaign.
