Giada Greggi has committed her future to the team she supports, Roma, on a contract until 2025.
One of the remaining members of the original Roma Women squad, Giada Greggi has made 70 appearances for the club to date. Now, there will be more to come over the next three years.
Greggi enjoyed a positive 2021-22 season, returning to form and fitness after an ACL injury had put her on the sidelines for much of the previous campaign.
Upon her comeback, the midfielder managed 24 appearances between league and cup, 16 of which were starts.
Only five players have ever made more appearances for Roma than Greggi’s overall tally, which is now guaranteed to extend.
The Rome-born talent told the club website: “Deciding to renew my contract with Roma was straightforward, as it is the club I have always supported.
“In my head the only thought I had was of continuing with this team, a team that has been a part of my life since I was a kid.
“If I look back I see a little girl who loves the club and can’t wait to take a ball out on the beach and try to imitate all the great Roma players.
“Today I wear that shirt every Sunday and myself and my teammates always try to do our best to live up to that honour.”
The 22-year-old added: “Next season we are expecting a lot of great challenges and opportunities for us to develop further.
“I hope to be able to contribute towards the club achieving all its targets.”
