For football fans across the world, Carlo Ancelotti is remembered as one of the greatest managers of his generation – but for those of a Roma persuasion, he is also held in high regard for his abilities as a player.
Current Everton manager Ancelotti represented Roma for eight seasons after joining in 1979, making more than 200 appearances and scoring 17 goals.
The midfielder subsequently spent a successful few years at AC Milan, but it was Roma for whom he played more.
Ancelotti, who celebrates his birthday on 10th June, has been a member of the Roma Hall of Fame since 2014 in recognition of his achievements with the club.
