Roma have confirmed the upcoming sale of Bosnian midfielder Benjamin Tahirovic to Ajax.
The midfielder made his debut for Roma this season, earning 13 appearances for the first team. However, he won’t be adding any more to them.
Both Roma and Ajax have announced that Tahirovic is due to join the Amsterdam-based club once he completes a medical in the coming days.
Reports indicate that Roma will be earning €8.5m from the sale, while they will also be entitled to a 15% sell-on clause.
Tahirovic’s sale will be the first of a few that will have to go through before the end of the month to meet Financial Fair Play parameters.
