Ola Solbakken has left Roma after just nine months to sign for Olympiacos on loan.
Solbakken caught Roma’s attention during their Europa Conference League clashes with Bodo/Glimt in the 2021-22 season, before joining the club on a free transfer in January 2023.
Starting opportunities have been limited for the Norwegian winger, though, so he has headed to Greece for a season of development.
The 24-year-old has 15 Roma appearances to his name – though he never lasted the full 90 minutes in any of them – and one goal, which he scored on the first of his seven Serie A starts.
Solbakken remains under contract with Roma until 2027, but Olympiacos will have the option to buy him at the end of his loan spell.
