Roma have released the 35-man squad list for their upcoming pre-season training schedule.
The squad will check in to the club’s Trigoria training ground on Thursday morning to commence their Covid-19 tests. After that, the schedule will pick up pace in the weeks ahead.
Among the names included on the list is new signing Pedro. The winger put pen to paper on a three-year contract this week, and will shortly commence training with his new teammates.
The 35-man list also sees the inclusion of several players who spent last season out on loan. Goalkeeper Robin Olsen, former captain Alessandro Florenzi, striker Patrik Schick, full-back Rick Karsdorp and midfielder Ante Coric are all present.
Of course, not all of them may still be at Trigoria by the end of pre-season. Reports suggest Bayer Leverkusen want Schick, while Everton are chasing Florenzi, for example.
Federico Fazio, Juan Jesus and Diego Perotti, some of the other players to be linked with an exit recently, are all also included.
Antonio Mirante is also on the list despite recently testing positive for Covid-19. He will join up with the squad once he has tested negative again.
Similarly, Javier Pastore is continuing rehabilation from hip surgery, while Schick will not join up with the squad until after the international break.
Primavera players such as Riccardo Calafiori, Devid Bouah and Alessio Riccardi will also be part of proceedings.
