Flaminia Simonetti makes move from Roma Women to Inter permanent

Inter Milan have announced the permanent signing of Flaminia Simonetti from Roma Women after her loan spell there last season.

The Rome-born midfielder was a member of the original Giallorosse squad, making 21 appearances and scoring five goals. She began to come into her own towards the end of that debut season, earning this website’s Most Improved Player award.

However, she has not played for the club since, having been loaned to Empoli for the 2019-20 season and then Inter for 2020-21.

Now, Inter have confirmed that Simonetti has joined them on a permanent basis.

She may have shown her potential, but there is little room left in Roma’s midfield, so she will now be remaining up north.
