English-born defender Emma Lipman has announced her departure from Roma Women.
Lipman, 30, was Roma’s most-used centre-back in their first season, but has now wished her former teammates good luck ahead of a new adventure.
“Thanks a lot for the opportunity,” she wrote on Instagram. “Proud to pull on the shirt and be a Romanista for the very first year.
“Good luck for the new season all.”
In total, Lipman made 17 appearances in Serie A Femminile with Roma, scoring one goal.
She gave an exclusive interview to Giallorossi Yorkshire at the start of 2019 – part one and part two can be found here.
Grazie and good luck, Emma!
