Norma Cinotti has signed for Roma Women from Empoli, thus reuniting with coach Alessandro Spugna.
The 25-year-old midfielder has become Roma’s third signing of the summer after defenders Carina Wenninger and Elin Landstrom, who was announced yesterday.
Cinotti previously played under Roma boss Spugna for Empoli, where she spent the past three seasons. Now, she has signed a three-year deal in the Italian capital.
A one-cap Italy international, Cinotti told the club website: “I’m really pleased to be joining Roma and I cannot wait to start training with my new teammates.
“I want to achieve great things this season and I will do everything I can to help the team along the way.”
Cinotti will be competing for a place in Roma’s midfield with the likes of Manuela Giugliano, Giada Greggi and Andressa Alves. Effectively, she can take the place of the recently departed Vanessa Bernauer in the squad.
She will also be sharing a pitch once more with former Empoli teammates Lucia Di Guglielmo and Benedetta Glionna.
