Thaisa Moreno has left Roma Women after just over half a season, mutually terminating the remainder of her contract.
Thaisa appeared to be a statement signing for Roma when they acquired her services in the summer. The midfielder brought with her a wealth of experience with the likes of AC Milan and Real Madrid.
She made her first start for the club in the season-opening 3-0 win over Empoli in August. The Brazil international added a further six starts to bring her to a total of seven among 11 appearances.
The last of those also came against Empoli, in a 2-1 win in mid-January.
Thaisa, 33, did not score any goals during her short stay in the Italian capital.
Her contract was only due to run until the summer. But now it has been cancelled ahead of schedule.
Roma still have several options in midfield, such as Vanessa Bernauer, Manuela Giugliano, Giada Greggi, Claudia Ciccotti and Andressa Alves.
