
The transfer window has now closed in Italy, with Roma being busy right until the deadline – and even beyond it.
Clubs in Italy had until 5th October to finalise their transfer business, and Roma managed to secure some deals on that day – as well as doing the bulk of their work before it.

Various sources, including Gianluca Di Marzio, David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, say Roma are confident of getting a last minute deal done to bring the Englishman back.
Reports earlier today suggested he had a plane booked ready to take him back to Rome when the fee was agreed.
With Man Utd needing to balance the books after signing Alex Telles within the last hour, it appears they may finally have accepted Roma’s offer.
