Roma have tied three academy graduates to new contracts, with Edoardo Bove, Ebrima Darboe and Nicola Zalewski hoping to continue their progress in the senior side.
All three have come through the youth ranks at Roma before playing at senior level. Now, as they continue their development, the club have ensured their futures will still be in the capital.
Darboe was a breakout star of the latter stages of last season, impressing while filling in during a midfield emergency. His form immediately prompted concerns over his long-term future, which have finally been alleviated with a contract until 2026.
Fellow midfielder Bove also made his debut towards the back end of the season and has had more chances so far this term. Likewise, winger Zalewski began to feature late last term before getting some other opportunities. They are each now on terms until 2025.
Darboe and Zalewski are both already full internationals for the Gambia and Poland respectively. Bove, meanwhile, is a Rome-born Italy youth international who has been with the club since the age of 10.
