Camelia Ceasar has become the latest Roma Women player to sign a contract extension with the club.
Roma’s first-choice goalkeeper, Ceasar has been with the club since 2019 and has now pledged her future until 2022.
After taking some time out of the team earlier in the season, Ceasar has returned strongly and has established herself as one of Roma’s most reliable players.
She has kept clean sheets in half of the 10 Serie A games she has started this season, conceding only 10 goals. In total across her Roma career, Ceasar has featured in 28 games in all competitions.
Ceasar follows the likes of Elisa Bartoli and Claudia Ciccotti in signing contract extensions recently.
“I’ve always associated Roma with passion,” the Romania international told the club website. “But I only realised the truth of that when I put on this shirt for the first time and saw the fans at Stadio Tre Fontane.
“The atmosphere they create at our ground pushes me on to give my best in every game – it’s something magical.
“It is an honour and a privilege to be able to continue to represent this club.”
