With Elisa Bartoli departing Roma, Giada Greggi is the last continuous player standing from the club’s original women’s squad.
Bartoli was Roma’s first captain after they set up their women’s team in 2018, and it was her and fellow hometown hero Greggi who scored the goals on the day the Giallorosse won their first Scudetto in 2023.
Now, six years on from the club’s foundation, only one of the original players remains at Roma.
Here is a look back at a timeline of when each of the founding Roma Women players left the club.
If a player left on loan originally but never returned to make any more appearances for the club (such as Flaminia Simonetti), the date of her first loan exit is counted.
